An article in today’s Washington Post discusses the possible reasons for Governor Malloy’s plans to delay Connecticut’s new teacher evaluation and development system. Contained within the article is a letter written last week by the Superintendent of Madison Public Schools, Thomas Scarice, on what he considers the real problems with education reform in the state of Connecticut. The letter is clear, compelling, and, in my estimation, very accurate, so I have decided to repost it to our own blog for others to read and comment on.
